Job Description:
* Advise and support the Group CEO, CIO, Business Development Units, and Senior management of the SBUs in the areas of M&A, valuation, and Corporate Finance
* Provide financial advisory/guidance to Project/BD teams on building the business case of their projects, which include providing recommendations and/or actionable insights to management, as needed.
* Conceptualize, design and prepare management briefs and presentations with proper recommendations to the Investment Committee and AEV/ACO/SBU Boards, as necessary.
* Ensure that there is an appropriate review process in place on analysis done by the team, and providing guidance to team members on the projects they handle, as needed.
* Lead the process of developing, adjusting and optimizing the policies and framework that govern investments across the Aboitiz group
* Lead initiatives to educate and share best practice knowledge in the areas of high finance and financial modeling with the Business Development and Finance teams across the Aboitiz Group of Companies
* Recruit, develop, coach and optimize a team of high-performing finance practitioners. Which involves managing workloads and project assignments (balancing what is needed by the project and the development opportunities of team members) and developing key talents
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of related work experience in a role that performs the same function
* CPA or CFA qualification is preferred (even better than an MBA).
* Strong working knowledge of DCF valuations as well as transaction and trading multiples.
* Track record of being involved in M&A deals.
