Job Description
Position: Electrical Harness Design Engineer
Location: Decatur, Illinois
Creo, Harness design, schematic experience
Develop and deliver 3D wire harness installation drawings in accordance with Caterpillar program modeling standards
Develop the harness 3D models using Creo Parametric
Perform full wire routing in Creo Cabling and Electric Lines Design (CAT Electrical workbench)
Performed detailed quality check prior to delivery
Deliver batch data of completed engineering products in accordance with Caterpillar program plan
Harness Installation design to be provided via Creo Cabling and ELD and saved to Teamcenter
Product structure creation/modification for harness which supports items such as clamps, spacers, brackets etc.
Product Structure creation/modification for the wiring Harness which include the harness, connectors, backshell, terminal lugs, markers, etc
