Description - Manage the sales for assigned region (EU) of molecular diagnostics business unit
Core responsibilities as a Regional Sales Manager Molecular Diagnostics
- Lead, motivate and inspire a dynamic sale / applications team to drive sales and support molecular testing customers
- Define business strategy for Molecular Systems / Assays, and to subsequently implement these plans through effective and personal management of the sales / application team.
- Work effectively with the Sales Director to drive initiatives relevant to the molecular sales market.
- Work closely with the marketing department to deliver on revenue targets and prepare the necessary activities to achieve reimbursement of the new products.
- Develop relationships with key accounts / molecular customers and KOLs.
- Responsible for appraisal and development of sales team in line with company guidelines. Continually monitor individual performance taking necessary action where appropriate to improve sales performance and / or standards.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to apply you should meet all or most of the following criteria:
- Prior experience in managing Europe region is must
- Degree qualified in a science-related subject, further business qualifications can only be an advantage.
- Man management techniques and practices with a solid understanding of In-Vitro Diagnostics (cytology / molecular).
- Strong ability to manage, inspire and professionalise a sales team, whereby experience with CRM tools, KPIs and preparing and marketing account plans.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent communication skills, result driven and creative.
- Energetic and a strong determination to meet sales targets.
- Affinity with the In-Vitro Diagnostic marketing.
- A person who can produce original solutions to complicated issues would be an asset.
- Fluent in English.
