Job Description

We are looking for a Communication Consultant, reporting to the Manager of Communications and Organizational Effectiveness, this role will support a variety of Communications needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting executive communications, internal communications, and media releases. Strong design skills/presentation development is a must, via PowerPoint and/or the Adobe suite. Video compilation and editing skills are strongly preferred.
What you'll be doing:
  • Develop presentations that include goals, strategies, culture, and work approach for the executive team's use, including coordination of product demos in partnership with Product Owners.
  • Build a comprehensive communications strategy and annual calendar to deliver effective internal communications, including bi-weekly organizational announcements, creating and managing department website, and creating video content that demonstrates new culture and business approach.
  • Develop a strategy for key messages and activities for 800+ team members/business partners at frequent department events such as Town Halls, Business Updates, News and Chews, and more, based on input gathered from across the department.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and Product Owners to produce/review and secure approvals for external press announcements, articles & interviews related, to customer data privacy, and other related topics, developing strong partnerships.
  • Create responses on behalf of Leadership including Executives and Product Owners into a comprehensive and integrated message for external.
  • Ensure 101 presentation and other reference materials are up to date. This includes delivering the 101 presentations during the onboarding process and filling any knowledge gaps through the solicitation of support from other team members when appropriate.
  • Manage and support Email Distribution Lists, SharePoint site, and Organizational Chart.

What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing Communications or Organizational Change Management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including consultative, detail-oriented, verbal & written communication, analytical, relationship management, and ability to influence.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent proficiency with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word, strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Previous experience with SharePoint or other document management/collaboration tools.
Bonus if you have:
  • Previous Automotive Industry and/or Connected Technology work experience
  • Work experience in a technical environment (I/T, Engineering, or Telematics)
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OrangePeople-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OrangePeople Account Management as requested.
