SJCA Inc. is seeking a full-time Survey CAD Office Technician to join our Indiana and Ohio team. The position can be primarily office-based or work a hybrid schedule of some in office and some remote work. This position could be based out of our Indianapolis, IN office, our Columbus, Ohio office, or one of our other locations.

The Office Survey Technician uses MicroStation, CAD software, Microsoft Office software, and other computer software to accomplish work assignments. Typical responsibilities include the following:
Process field data and complete final survey drawings for private section as well as Government Agencies.
Assist Professional Land Surveyors and Project Managers in completing assigned tasks as well as QA/QC procedures.
Organize and maintain project folders and associated drawing and documentation related to assigned projects.
Requirements for this Position
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to read and understand highway and bridge plans and specifications.
Full understanding of Survey document preparation such as Route Surveys, ALTA, Topographic, Boundary Surveys and Plats of Survey.
Proficiency in MicroStation CAD, AutoCAD, or similar CAD application.
Minimum of 2 years of Survey CAD experience preferred.
Knowledgeable of INDOT and/or ODOT CADD Standards preferred.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Possess excellent time management skills.
Ability to complete multiple projects within established schedules.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
