Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.DESCRIPTION: Responsible including but not limited to keeping the delivery room clean and supplied with all the tools that are necessary to get through a delivery, sterilize instruments, prep and transport expectant parent into the delivery room, will need to work quickly and make decisions in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment, able to perform in a surgical tech role for c/sections , d+cs and tubal ligations. Set up for vaginal delivery and assist with patient care on labor and postpartum units.CERTS: BLS required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.SHIFTS: 12 hour DAYS start at 0700 - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On Call requirements : 2 call shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend requirements : 3 weekend shifts a week Holiday requirements : one summer and one winter Floating requirements Yes, Helping Hands to the other units Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
