Senior Systems Analyst

Job Description:
Client is currently seeking an experienced Sr. System Analyst with WordPress development, maintenance, administration, and migration experience to join its developers and enterprise support team on customer site in Crownsville, MD. This position would be focused on maintenance and operations of enterprise internet facing WordPress shared services environment.

Responsibilities:
Analyzing the WordPress environment and report detailed findings
working experience with WordPress multisite environment
good understanding of the themes and plugins and how they integrate with WordPress
Amazon RDS database (or similar) connectivity with WordPress
Migration of WordPress sites from one environment to other
Perform Migration analysis to determine incompatibilities and recommend solution and approach to mitegate incompatibilities, specially when migration from older to newer wodpress versions or when migrating between Windows and RedHat.
Experience with using, configuring and integrating internet proxy solutions such as CloudFalare.
Experience managing WordPress environment hosted on the cloud, specifically Amazon AWS.
Provide support to Content publishers on technical issues and provide appropriate action /coordination to resolve those issues
Working knowledge of migrating Content Databases using PowerShell; Developing PowerShell scripts for Site Backup/Restores, Library Files Backup/Restore etc.
Ability to provide 24x7 production support with rotating On-Call duties/ After-hours support
Architecting solutions for enterprise applications
Day to Day support of the WordPress functionalities and resolve customer issues and recommended solutions for improvements
Gathering the requirements, Submitting the proposal for new tasks and enhancement based on the methodologies, best practices and requirements
Ability to work effectively with End-Users issues/problem tickets and provide resolutions
Maintain a network multi domain and multi directory Wordpress environment, ensuring that the site has the up to date software with proper backups
Maintain and document the changes and modifications to the applications
Provide the support to Content publishers on technical issues and provide appropriate action /coordination to resolve those issues
Building and performing Disaster Recovery (DR) Server farms
Microsoft SQL server and mySQL database administration includes import, export, Backup & restore Management, Database tuning and SQL Troubleshooting as well as development experience in SSIS packages
Windows and RedHat/Linux servers administration skills around managing WordPress applications
Coordinating with the clients and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of incidents
Troubleshooting and deployments of all aspects of internet facing public sites
Development and Troubleshooting the code of PHP, Java, WordPress templates, Plugins, APIs and Microsoft technology stack are important

Minimum Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Must have 8 to 10 years of General IT experience
Experience with SharePoint 2019 System Administration is required and WordPress enterprise experience is desired.
Experience with Programming Languages c# and php
Development experience with ASP.net including the creation of custom MVC applications, Web parts, Apps, SharePoint Solutions
Strong oral and written communications skills
