Software Architect

Position Name:Software Architect

Responsibilities:

• Software Architect for Microservice responsible for designing and implementing microservices-based solutions and strategy, and the microservices adoption process within the organization.
• Contribute towards architecture design, provide guidance to development teams on re-architecting of existing application architecture.
• Defining requirements and planning, designing and developing an architecture for scalable and reliable cloud systems to meet present and future business needs.
• Govern DevOps methodologies - Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
• Collaborate with other Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions.
• Working closely with product management team and stakeholders to generate and translate requirements into architectural artifacts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years’ experiences in designing, developing, deploying and operating cloud-native or API-driven application, with 3-4 years in the architect role.
• Excellent understanding of cloud technologies – have had deployed more than one solution on cloud.
• Expert with cloud technologies and Agile/DevOps approaches to modern software delivery using CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Github, Gitlab, Jfrog, Jenkins and test tools).
• Excellent Hands-on experience and Excellent understanding of Kubernetes and this networking such as Calico and hands-on experience with deployed DB stack on Kubernetes.
• Excellent understanding of IP networking and SDN and Kubernetes Networking, and Linux system administration skills such as Linux command lines.
• Must have recent hands-on experience using automation framework with Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Chef, Puppet.
• Excellent in troubleshooting software, databases and networking.
• 8 years of hands-on experiences in development web services and Microservice Architectures and Design patterns using Python or Java and it’s framework such as spring boot.
• Experience in working with open source code and frameworks (hands-on experience in Java/ J2EE, Spring 5.2 , SpringBoot 2.3, Microservices, Swagger 2.0, XML, JSON, REST APIs and developing RESTful Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, Kafka, Kubernetes, Openstack, AWS).
• Prior experience in utilizing Service Mesh using Istio, API GW such as WSO2 and Messaging solution such as Kafka in building Microservices Architecture.
• 3 years of experiences in building cloud solutions on Kubernetes on Baremetal or Openstack and some other Cloud Platforms.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of 12-factor apps and modern containerized microservices.
• Experienced with scalability, high availability, light footprint, and low-memory-based architectures.
• Plan for reliability by designing systems to work across our multi-regions and multi-cloud environments.
