Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Agricultural Trading house looking to hire Cross Commodity Volatility Trader to join the team in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Developing multiple long / short / relative value volatility trading strategies across commodities, including grains and oilseeds, soft commodities, energy and metals to drive independent and uncorrelated PnL for the business
Execute and manage risk within these trades and utilise them to identify opportunities and define new strategies moving forward
Create and manage a volatility dashboard, highlighting and actioning the new opportunities
Work across desks as to create collaboration between the volatility trading and directional trading activity
Role reports to Global Head of Trading / Head of Directional Trading Coffee, Cocoa and Sugar

Key Qualifications / Experience

4+ years of active trading within commodity options and volatility products including grains and oilseeds, soft commodities, energy and metals
Proven record of identifying, developing and executing volatility trading strategies and opportunities from a commodities background
Analyse implied and realised volatility curves, pre and post trade
Ability to liaise with and bridge different desks as to facilitate new trading synergies
Role is to be based in Amstelveen Office, however hybrid working is available
