Law Firm Staff Recruiting Specialist - For prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. This position assists with all aspects of full-cycle recruitment process for professional staff and temporary staff in the U.S. offices. This position reports to the Staff Recruiting Manager and Director of Support Staff.
Responsibilities:
Conducts first round interviews.
Sources candidates.
Liaison with the employment agency vendors.
Schedules interviews.
Maintains the Applicant Tracking System (viRecruit) including: entering/accepting candidates into the database, entering interview information, uploading documents, following up for feedback, closing applicant files, etc.
Posts new positions on firm website, Intranet as well as other external sites.
Creates electronic recruiting files.
Conducts reference checks and verifies dates of employment.
Administers/manages third-party candidate diagnostic assessment process.
Assists with other special projects, as needed.
Position Requirements:
Two-year college degree or equivalent experience.
At least four years of Staffing and Recruiting experience in a professional environment.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.
Experience using an ATS and LinkedIn recruiting module.
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Proven reliability, dependability, and motivation.
Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting a strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
