Job Description
A company is looking to the fill the role of a Software Development Engineer. Candidates must be in possession of a BSc Degree in either Electronic or Software Engineering and have 2 3 years relevant experience. The focus of the role is research and development of new software products for the business.
Candidates must have:
Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Working knowledge of SQL, Python (and/or Ruby) and Linux systems
Knowledge of design patterns
Ability to implement good object oriented design using SOLID and DRY principles
Working knowledge of Git would be useful
Ability to compile technical software specifications
Ability to design and write software programs from technical specifications
