Job Description
Our client near Houston, TX is offering the most comprehensive array of label printing products, and they're looking for a strong operations leader to help them navigate growth. Great comprehensive benefits, salary plus bonus and relocation assistance can be provided. Pressure sensitive label experience required.
Job Summary: Provides overall direction and guidance to the organization's operational activities to maximize growth, profitability, and day-to-day leadership.
Help identify opportunities and areas for improvement
Determine resource allocation
Keep the VP/CEO informed about business activities, performance, opportunities, and recommended courses of action.
Challenge basic assumptions underlying the plant's operations
Develop operational goals for the plant that is aggressive yet obtainable and tied to the long-term goals of the company
Monitor plant performance against performance goals to ensure progress is being made and corrective action, if necessary, is taken.
Ensure adherence to annual budgets
Specific Duties:
Optimization of customer satisfaction/loyalty through improved operations
Implementation of productivity/quality metrics and of incentive programs designed to minimize costs and enhance efficiency
