Role: Java Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Initially Remote)

Type: Contract

Job Description:

• Java senior developer with 8-10 years of experience with strong hands on experience in coding and debugging.
• Experience on Spring Spring-Boot with good knowledge on Java, Groovy, Gradle and Object Oriented Programming principles
• Groovy experience is recommended
• Good working experience XML Technologies (XML, XSD, XSL XSLT, SAX,DOM)
• Hands on writing Junit test cases using Mockito
• Good analytical and debugging shooting skills
• Must have good command of SQL and experience working with MSSQL Oracle or other relational database
• Working exposure on AMS project(s)
• Should have worked in an Agile development environment
• Must have Excellent communication skills and should be able to converse with Product Owners and other technical partners to understand requirements
• P&C Insurance domain knowledge is desired.

Responsibilities:

• Develop code
• code & unit test - as per design specifications
• Be a self-starter.
• Involved in peer review and provide suggestions to leads on process improvements.
• Deliver high-quality, secure, scalable and maintainable production software
• Define, communicate and implement coding standards
• Ensure high level of documentation is maintained by the self and any junior members.
• Ensure predictable and reliable delivery of sprints releases
• Work independently with client team - must be highly motivated and eager to take up challenges
• Follow the standards and development methodologies
• Communicate with different stakeholders
• Provide clear updates to Mindtree and client management
• Experience in creating documents."
