Functional Analyst (MR-0102)

We are currently looking for a Functional Analyst who will be responsible for gathering all requirements for our different products and producing top functional requirements.

Our Partner, Mediktor is the most accurate artificial intelligence-based medical assistant for triage, pre-diagnosis, and decision support. The technology combines artificial intelligence and natural language recognition with patient data to explore symptoms and provide a list of possible conditions and recommendations.

It is a consolidated start-up, with HQ in New York and Barcelona, that recently announced an 11M financial round.

You will work as part of an Agile team and act as the central resource and driving force for the definition of all the improvements of our products.

You will be integrated in a team that is moving towards Agility. As a startup company, we are fast-learners but still adapting some of the processes so you can help us in the shaping of our Scrum framework. You will be part of our rituals: daily meetings, Sprint planning, Spikes, Retros, refinements, regular brainstorming sessions and after-work beers once per month!

Role responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and get a deep understanding of the business processes / challenges / key success factors and work with stakeholders (C level, Product & Project Managers, customers & technical team) to gather and validate business requirements.

• Translate stakeholder needs into Epics and User stories that are clear for our technical team so the implementation is as smooth as possible. Have a fluent communication with the implementation team to ensure the requirements are detailed enough for a successful implementation.

• Advise on the best possible option to respond to the business requirements. Make decisions, provide recommendations and resolve conflicts raised by project team or stakeholders to improve the product in the best possible direction.

• Identify gaps in the documentation of existing functionalities and work to have the best possible definition for our existing products

• Work closely with Project / Product Manager to provide incremental improvement of our different products.

• Lead functional requirements workshops (both internal and external) and facilitate sessions for the improvement of our products.

• Write functional specifications / user stories for our products and identify KPIs to properly measure the improvements.

We need:

• Master or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.

• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, dealing with complex IT products and have an impressive proven business analyst track record using Agile methodologies in a hybrid environment.

• Experience in the functional requirements creation for web and app consumer-facing products

• Experience in Agile environments (Kanban, Scrum)

• Experience with project and incident tracking management tools (Jira and Confluence)

• Proficiency in English both written and spoken.

• Excellent analytical and technical skills to produce detailed Functional Specifications
