Job Description

Responsibilities:

Identifying opportunities available by accessing them through client portals and preparing bid-no bid documentation for management consideration
Developing the strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) and understanding the clients specific requirements
Writing proposals and coordinating input from other specialist staff
Working with key members of the project team and the client organisation to obtain the information required to compile the proposal
Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid
Tracking costs and schedules during bid development
Negotiating with specialist suppliers and/or subcontractors for pricing
Understand the nature of current and future markets
Responding to clients and other stakeholders queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted
Development and/or approval of key tender internal coordination deliverables: schedule, execution plan, Kick Off meeting slides, etc
Development and/or approval of key tender approval deliverables
Internal progress reporting
Pre and post submission client correspondence
Ensure all pre and post submission tender bulletins/clarifications are effectively reviewed, communicated and incorporated into the proposal as required, ensuring continuous alignment with all tender stakeholders including alliance, consortium and JV partners
Facilitate handover to delivery team when contracts won

Requirements:

- Strong academic background (degree level) in English Language or equivalent is desirable
- Qualifications in professional writing, media/communications or business development
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role preferably if you have worked in manufacturing industry
- Excellent writing written and verbal communication skills (be able to interact directly with clients)
- Proficient organizational skills, time management, and attention to details
- Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
