QA Manual Testing Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Validate business requirements against the implementation through comprehensive testing
2. Produce client deliverables such as detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
3. Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction
4. Acting as an Agile leader, flexible to play multiple roles in the team
5. Share knowledge with the team through training, documents, etc.
6. Flexibility to learn new technologies as required by the project
7. Develop and execute Automated testing scripts on Appium and other tools
8. Independently manage assigned tasks
9. Be responsible for quality analysis
10. Coach and mentor junior people.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Certifications:

1. Demonstrate experience participating in the delivery of Mobile projects is required.
2. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following testing activities: functionality testing, automation testing, and mobile testing.
3. Hands-on experience in the following activities: test estimation, test planning, and test reporting
4. Proficiency working with automation frameworks: BDD, JUnit, TestNG, and build tools like Maven, Gradle
5. Familiar with Perfecto, SeeTest or Kobiton
6. Must have experience in writing automated test scripts using Appium and Selenium
7. Experience in setting up CIs, test pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab
8. Deep understanding of automation test framework design and hands-on experience in automation testing
9. Demonstrates a breadth and/or depth of technical/Industry competence
10. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
11. Must be flexible to new situations and challenges
12. Passion for delivery
13. Good time management skills
14. Problem-solving skills are required

Desired Skills / Certifications:

1. High proficiency in any programming language (Java, JavaScript) to solve day-to-day code-related issues
2. Ability to build and maintain automation tests in multiple environments
3. Hands-on experience with API automation
4. Experience working with offshore teams across various time zones.
