Job Description

Enterprise Data Architect

100% Remote

Pay: $150k with 12% Bonus

Direct Hire

An Executive Order was released stating that federal contractors must require COVID-19 vaccinations for all US employees. As a company that works on federal contracts, we have a legal requirement to comply with the executive order, if it is enforced.

The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for developing standards and technical designs for data across the COMPANY landscape. This role will be instrumental in overseeing and helping set direction for Storage Architecture, Enterprise SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), and Data Architecture. The Enterprise Data Architect will help drive our cloud data strategy and ensure data is in a format which provides valuable information and insights to our developers, business stakeholders, and end-users.


**This is not an analytical role. The need is for someone who understands the data transaction, data moving.


Duties and Responsibilities


Establishing enterprise standards for data for both on-premises and cloud infrastructures


Developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, data development standards, implementation, and management of operational and data analytics systems


Driving data pipelines/flows with a focus towards enabling accessibly within security boundaries


Partnering with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure applications are adhering to best practice and data governance standards.


Setting reference architecture and enterprise models for the company


Collaborating with development teams on integration patterns for both batch and real time data movement


Optimizing overall data/information flow by reducing redundancy and enabling accessibly within security boundaries


Collaborating with Data Governance, Privacy, and InfoSec on data related strategies


Reviewing Contract/RFP to ensure partners are in line with COMPANY data architecture strategies


Must Have:


5 yrs of healthcare industry experience


10yrs in IT with at least 4 spent in Data management


CRM platformSalesforce and or Microsoft Dynamics


Experience in data migration from on-premises to cloud infrastructure


Experience with Azure data storage and integration capabilities


Experience Requirements:


Proven record of accomplishment diagnosing, resolving, making recommendations towards, and implementing projects that drive towards an enterprise data strategy


System integration experience (real-time and batch), data extraction, transformation, and quality controls design techniques


Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level


Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models

Experience consulting to enterprise project to identify data systems and sources to aid in project scoping, estimating project costs, and identifying high level timelines

Experience with SDLC/SW development processes (Agile and Waterfall)

Experience enterprise architecture standards, TOGAF, Technology trends
