Job Description
We are looking for an individual to fill a dual Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst role in the Dallas area. The person will work closely with Corporate Controller and Director of Finance to assure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. The roll will be responsible for data maintenance and knowledge of all financial systems used in the company as they roll up into the new Catalyst reporting environment.

Main Responsibilities
Assist with monthly accounting close- Reconciliations
- Allocations
- Routine Entries
- Assist with monthly reporting
- Assist with development of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Manage the data connections between AS400 and JD Edwards
- Reconcile monthly close data between systems and financial reports
- Maintain Financial/Accounting System Databases, managing hierarchies, setting up new business units and accounts, load trial balances
- Create weekly sales report until system automation is complete
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis on a regular basis, frequently within short time frames
- All other duties as needed or required
To be successful in this role you will be required to have the following
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4 or more years experience in Accounting
- Data mining and report tool experience preferred, but not required (JD Edwards, AS400, NetSuite, Catalyst
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Access is required and essential to the role
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required
- Detail oriented with a knowledge of (GAAP) accounting procedures and financial report practices
