Senior Packet Core Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible to Configure PGW, Operate and Maintain the System for multi-Country environment.
Responsible for housekeeping of PGW, uptime, capacity management, reporting.
Work with Core network Team, Network Architects, Provisioning team, Vendors and Country Operations
Day to day Ticket and issues resolution for seamless operations.

Skills and Experience:
Qualifications
Bachelor or higher degree in Electronics, or Computer Science
AWS Solution Architect or similar certification (Optional)
A Database certification (SQL Server Preferable)
Cisco CCNS (or equivalent) certified.

Specific skills & experience:
Excellent Knowledge on Evolved Packet core with practical skills in troubleshooting and fault resolution.
Excellent knowledge on end-to-end data service call flows.
Excellent knowledge on key protocols e.g., GTP, Gi, Sy, Gx, DIAMETER, SIGTRAN, MAP.
Hands on experience on PGW, SGW, MME, eNodeB, PCRF.
Good working knowledge of 3GPP, IETF and GSMA standards and architectures.
Wireshark tracing of critical infrastructure to debug issues
Extensive Database experience in experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or other commercial/open-source database platforms
Should have good analytics skill on Handset behaviour
System Admin skills of PL/SQL, Batch, UNIX & MS Office
Knowledge on understanding programs /codes and SOPs will be advantageous.
Shell script or other programming language knowledge will be advantageous.
Experience in AWS or any cloud platform
Working Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
