Job Summary
Property Management Company is seeking an Experienced Commercial Property Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial property such as office, retail, and warehouse.
Responsibilities and Duties
Acts as primary contact with property owners to ensure that objectives are being met
Perform regular inspections of properties and provide recommendations, directly oversee daily vendor management, including directing vendor repairs and property improvements
Manage relationships with tenants and vendors; address concerns and follow up with tenants
Negotiating with vendors regarding service and construction contracts
Overseeing major repairs and construction projects including tenant and building improvements
Ensuring compliance with codes and regulations
Oversee the timely collection of rent, payment of expenses, compliance with lease terms, and preparation of all required legal notices
Review timely and complete monthly reports including operational summaries, collections and variance reports
Prepare monthly and annual budgets, forecasts and management plans
Approve coded invoices for payment
Prepare and review lease abstracts
Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on the financial and operational performance of the property and participating in meetings with accounting division and other managers regarding the same
Qualifications and Skills
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property operations. Candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to pay close attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a working knowledge of the day to day operations of multi-tenant commercial properties. Experience in supervising projects. Technical/construction field experience is preferred. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Skyline and Yardi preferred but not required.
