City Avenue Market is locally independently-owned and has 4 locations in the lower mainland BC.
We are now hiring for both part-time & full-time cashiers for our Vancouver store located on West Broadway.
Store Address: 3151 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2H2
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle tenders and process transactions accurately
Provide a high level of customer service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the work area
Receive and sign for deliveries
Assist the grocery department with stocking as needed
Other support duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Detail-oriented
Ability to memorize a list of PLU codes
Ability to work and stand on your feet for up to 7.5 hours
Flexible availability; must be available to work closing shifts and weekends
PREFERRED SKILLS
Previous experience is an asset but not required
Great interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and work ethic
Fluency in English
