Full-Time Produce Clerk

City Avenue Market is locally family-owned and has 4 locations in the lower mainland BC.

We are now hiring for our Vancouver store located at 3151 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2H2This is a permanent full-time produce position with 5 shifts 40 hours per week.

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, cull, and rotate/stock produce
Ensure produce are fresh and visually appealing
Provide a high level of customer service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the work area
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, carry, unload heavy cases unaided (up to 50 lbs)
Ability to squat down and/or stretch to stock shelves
Ability to work and stand on your feet for up to 7.5 hours
Ability to work in and out of a walk-in cooler
Flexible schedule: Available to work closing shifts and/or weekend

PREFERRED SKILLS
Previous experience is an asset but not required
Great interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and work ethic
Fluency in English
