Job Description
DIESEL CREEK CONTRACTING INC.
Currently hiring 2 Dispatchers
Business location: 29115 Haverman Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 2P4
Yard location: 31381 King Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5Z2
Wage: $29.00/hour for 8hrs/day and 40hrs/week.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: As Soon as possible
Requirements for this position
Must be able to speak and write in English.
High school diploma is required.
Experience an asset, on job training will be provided.
Benefits
Relocation cost is covered, if required.
Medical and Dental insurance is provided by the employer
Duties
Dispatch and assign truck drivers to scheduled jobs.
Provide drivers with proper instructions for load pick up and drop off.
Provide drivers with directions and contact information to get to the location on time.
Communicate with drivers in the field for updates.
Arrange service and emergency repairs.
Report problems and accidents to management.
Update load information and truck driver information into the database.
Coordinate schedules.
Record and maintain records of work or service performed, charges, expenses, and dispatch information.
