Job Description
DIESEL CREEK CONTRACTING INC.
Currently hiring 1 Bookkeeper
Business location: 29115 Haverman Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 2P4
Yard location: 31381 King Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5Z2
Wage: $28/hour for 8hrs/day and 40hrs/week.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: As Soon as possible
Requirements for this position
Must be able to speak and write in English.
High school diploma is required.
1 to 2 years of experience is required.
Degree or diploma in the relevant field is an asset.
Benefits
Relocation cost is covered, if required.
Medical and Dental insurance is provided by the employer
Duties
Reconcile all account receivable, payable, and company credit cards.
Complete monthly and annual cash and account reconciliation.
Ensure receivables are collected promptly.
Make bank deposits.
Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes.
Take responsibility to handle company finances including cash, ensure no funds are misplaced or improperly allocated.
Issue invoices to customers.
Perform daily general ledger balancing, process transactions, verify information, file and assist in the preparation of reports.
