Job Description

ETL Talend role

Irving Tx and Ashburn, Virginia Hybrid - once in 2 weeks

As part of COE BI strategic initiatives, we are standardizing our ETL jobs on the Talend platform and migrating the data platform from SQL server to GCP Big Query. The consultant will work with the ETL lead and will be responsible for migrating ETL jobs from SQL server SSIS packages, Python and other Batch scripts to Talend jobs Also responsible for scheduling of various ETL jobs in Apache Airflow and providing support in monitoring execution of them

Skills Required: Experience with working with various ETL tools including SSIS, Informatica, Talend Expertise in understanding, analyzing SSIS packages, Python based ETL, Teradata batch scripts Expertise in building and deploying ETL in Talend Experience with data platforms & tools: Teradata, AWS, SQL server, GCP Big Query, Redshift

Knowledge in cloud database operations, tools and technologies that are required for on-prem to cloud migration. Experience in working with databases, reporting tools and ETL software

  • Experience programming/scripting/coding (SQL, Python using API, etc.) and knowledge of relational databases.
