Location: St. Paul, MN, 55114 (Onsite)
Period: 6+ Months (Probability to extend)
Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM.
Pay rate: $ 19 /-hr

Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level - no previous manufacturing or other experience is required
- Must be able to read, write English and perform basic math skills as job duties require.
- Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- May require work in a clean room environment wearing special garments (e.g. scrubs, hair bonnets, frocks, hoods, masks, gloves) based on the Class level for each Clean Room.
- Personal protective equipment (e.g. safety glasses, face shields, protective sleeves, aprons) will be based on the safety requirements for each area.
- Overtime may be required at times.
Physical Requirements:
- Must meet local physical requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for minimum of 8 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs individually or up to 65 pounds as part of a team lift.
- Occasional pushing of carts with product or containers of solutions
- Occasional pulling of carts with product or containers of solutions
- Repetitive hand motion
- Requires frequent object handling
- Requires frequent fine hand coordination.
- Requires frequent simple hand grasping.
- Requires frequent firm hand grasping.
- Requirement of 20/25 vision (with or without corrective lenses)
- This job also involves hazardous materials and hazardous waste responsibilities which include understanding and complying with hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations for job duties such as: proper handling, storage, hazardous waste in-house treatment using neutralization and dilution systems, and labeling requirements for hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
Summary:
- Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products.
- Manufacturing Technicians will be trained and follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job.
- Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of our medical devices and associated device documentation.
- Equipment used by the Manufacturing Technician will depend on the specific job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to:
- cutting, weighing, processing tissue
- mixing of solutions
- washing components or equipment
- wrapping components and or equipment for sterilization
- assembly or gluing of components
- packaging and sealing of devices
- preparing devices for sterilization
- final packaging or labeling of products
- Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.
- Operate general production equipment (sealers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
- Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
