In this role, you will:
- Responsible for reconciling account balances and maintaining general ledger
- Prepare month-end close analyses
- Analyze, update and maintain account analyses for assigned functions
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks and adherence to GAAP rules
- Prepare monthly Sales and Use tax files for US
- Assist in compiling reports and required documents for US and Canadian Audits
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of solid tax accounting experience
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Accounting is preferred
- Experience in chemistry or manufacturing industry is a plus
- Understanding of GAAP
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian indirect taxes
