Strategic Security Manager (m/f/d)

My client is a traditional international company, which has become one of the market leaders in the field of naval technology through highly innovative products. This has resulted in intensive growth, both in Europe and globally. The products are used on both civilian and military vessels. Currently we are looking for a Strategic Security Manager (m/f/d) to underpin and drive the strong growth of the company.The position is based in Southern Germany.

Tasks

• Establishment and expansion of the company-wide management of product and functional safety applications in accordance with the company specification
• Developing specifications for safety projects and processes and assessing their implementation
• Promoting the safety culture within the company, e.g. by training employees on the subject of product safety
• Assessing the achievement of the required risk reduction of safety-related products
• Conducting product safety audits

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering or a comparable orientation
• Sound experience in safety management (product and functional safety) in a manufacturing company
• Knowledge of project and quality management
• Very good knowledge of English
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Independent and proactive way of working
