Research Associate Process Development (DSP) (m/d/f)

Your mission

AMSilk and its external protein production partners are expanding their industrial activities. A central part of the company is the protein production and development department.
The Research Associate Process Development contributes to the development of processes. She/he is involved in the setup of new technology, process stabilization, industrialization and process validation. Additionally, the Research Associate Process Development contributes to the scale-up and to process implementation at industrial scale. She/he is active part of the improvement process team.

• You are responsible for the planning, preparation, execution and evaluation of protein purification processes in the lab scale
• You will monitor and evaluate downstream process KPI`s
• Your tasks include the detailed reporting, extraction of measures and improvements
• You will develop SOP`s, batch protocols in the laboratory, scale-up and industry
• Your contribution contain standard laboratory activities
• You will accompany DSP activities and transfer technology to AMSilk s pilot plant

Your profile

• You have completed a Bachelor or Master degree in (micro-)biology, biotechnology, bioengineering or comparable
• You have more than 2 years professional experience
• Your are experienced in protein purification; experience in industry is a plus
• You are a team-player in cross-functional teams and your communication skills are good
• You are self-organized and your working style is structured and analytical
