Job Title: Senior Exchange Engineer
Location: IL, TX, FL, AZ, Indiana, WI upon conversion to FTE
Duration: 6Months
ResponsibilitiesGeneral Summary: Senior Exchange/0365 Engineer with 5 years of professional experience to advise on design and development of technical strategies utilizing various methodologies and tools. Exemplifies the firm's mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement solid, scalable and flexible solutions to support company migrating and transforming from on premise to cloud solutions.
Partner with vendors to help draft proposals, providing effort estimations, and participating in client presentations.
Understand and champion cloud lifecycle management, help evolve the business to expand this footprint. .
Deploy and maintain on-premise Exchange 2013/2016 environment
Deploy and maintain Office 365 Exchange Online
Experience configuring On-premises to Cloud Connectivity (i.e. VPNs, Direct Connections, and Hybrid Cloud Solutions)
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and firewalls
Knowledge about Virtual Machines and Container concepts.
Knowledge of Security as it relates to Cloud Environments including the Shared Security Model
Knowledge of automation tools.
Understanding of HA architecture (clustering, RAC, ADG, fail over etc.), multiple DC architecture, multi-cloud integration
Selecting cloud providers and vetting third-party services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience deploying and supporting Office 365 Exchange Online
Experience deploying and supporting on-premise Exchange 2013/2016
Experience supporting proposal development, RFP responses, and expansion initiatives.
Some experience in one or more prominent cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google).
Experience with Agile methodology.
