Your Role:

Do you have a knack for technology? Are you willing to challenge yourself in this ever-changing technology facade? The successful candidate will have strong experience in analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing business application software for systems with medium complexity. Should be able to work as an independent team member, as well as partner. Be capable of applying judgment to plan and execute tasks. Should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from team members. Should be able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of constantly changing business priorities. Experienced of working using agile/scrum practices

Your expertise

5+ years of Mainframes experience with COBOL/JCL
5+ years of DB2 experience
2 year/s of DB2 Native and Cobol Stored Procedure experience
familiar with OPC scheduling, knowing how to interpret the schedules
2+ year/s of Change man experience or similar change control software like Endeavor
hands on experience writing and modifying JCL, PROC
2 years of experience with DFSORT
must be able to complete the assigned task with little or no help from onshore, basically a self-starter.
nice to have but not critical are SDLC, Jira and MQ.
hands on IT application development experience including a background of working within a large Financial Services organization
proven track record of delivering and supporting complex IT solutions.
current experience of managing teams across geographies.
degree or equivalent in technical or engineering discipline
a strong thinker that sees problems around the corner and takes ownership to resolve
