Job Title: Bigpanda/Moogsoft Consultant

Location: Normal, IL (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ months Contract Role

Skills Required:

• Setting of the Bigpanda tool and implementation in the customer environment in accordance with customer needs (with HA)
• Experience in monitoring tools/infrastructure -Solid scripting skills (e.g. JavaScript(must), Shell script, Perl script)
• Previous work on event management tools like Truesight or Netcool is preferable -Rabbitmq, Apache tomcat, Mysql and elastic search knowledge is preferable
• Strong working knowledge of elementary tools and ITSM tools along with CMDB -Good understanding of alarm point notification tools as xMatters and pager duty and dashboards like grafana -Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment -Sound knowledge and experience in creating HLDs and LLDs -Experience with security best practices in server configuration, tool development, and access controls -Development/Testing background would be an added advantage
• Good understanding in the usage of API to retrive the events from various monitoring tools
• Experience in rest, restclient, webhook and SNMP based integrations
• Able to create and maintain complex event corrleations from the alerts coming from various sources
