Senior Internal Communications Manager – COO Office (m/f/d)

As a passionate communications professional and great allrounder, you ll be our Internal Communications expert, shaping SoSafe s corporate communications internally and, in turn, externally because what happens internally gets noticed externally.

You are communicating our vision as a company, help to break down our strategy into digestible bits and pieces and will provide all Safeys with important company updates. You will help us maintain a high bar in our communication at all times and will be at the forefront of strengthening how we live our company values.

Your mission

• Proactively source relevant stories from across our teams to support corporate communication efforts and collaborate closely with Marketing and PR to ensure unified messaging
• Establish and take full ownership of our various communication formats from Executive team messaging, through to individual contributor success stories, e.g. internal blog posts, live events, or video messages
• Prepare important communication from the Executive team in various formats to different parts of the organisation and support them in delivering their communication effectively
• Collaborate with our People & Office Mgmt teams to evolve our weekly All-Hands Call into a professionally produced hybrid event, that is live streamed from and to over a 350 Safeys across our 5 offices and remote locations every week

Your profile

• Substantial experience in a communications-related role, ideally driving communications in a startup or big tech environment
• Proficient writer with excellent style and you are able to describe complex business topics for specific target groups in a way they understand and enjoy
• Strong storytelling capabilities for suitable and engaging communications
• You think in 360-degree/newsroom terms and know how to prepare content in all channels appropriately for the respective target group
• You re quick to pick up on things and always willing to familiarize yourself with new topics. All the while, you develop great ideas to advance your team for you, good just isn t good enough.
• Organizational and improvisational talent describes you best and you keep a cool head even in stressful situations
• You have a university degree, ideally in economics, social sciences, or communications
• Excellent (near native) English language skills
• Positive attitude and can-do-mentality
• Pragmatic & solution-oriented mindset, happy to take on also tricky tasks and get them out of the way
• Extroverted personality (while still being able to listen closely!), not shying away from being one of the key internal voices of the company
