Senior/Middle QA Automation Engineer

Tasks

Together with a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers and product owners you will work on different top-notch products to achieve excellent quality and stability.

• You will write automated tests for new tasks and increase the test coverage of existing functionality
• You will be responsible for test documentation of the product (checklists, regression test cases, bug reports and so on)
• Take an active part in building an effective pyramid of tests together with the development team to achieve excellent quality and stability
• Build your process of testing and delivering high-quality products to our customers

Stack

• For automated tests on iOS, we use: the standard SDK unit and UI tests
• For automated tests on Android, we use: Espresso, Kaspresso, JUnit4

Requirements

• At least 2 years of QA experience on any of the platforms (iOS or Android)
• Understanding of various testing paradigms (what are the tasks and how are they implemented best practices) - Unit tests, API tests, End2End tests, UI tests
• Experience in creating regression coverage under the testing pyramid
• For iOS: XCTest, any framework for snapshot tests
• For Android: Espresso, Kaspresso (or any other framework)
• Knowledge of testing methods and principles
• Basic skills in one of the OOP programming languages (Java, Kotlin or Swift)

Plus:

• Experience in reducing the release cycle. For example, setting up a release train
• Robolectric
• Working experience in different snapshot testing tools
• Git
