Creating the magic of a well-established process, communicating with the team, and making sure they have all that they need is what will get you up here every day. But let us warn you - this is not a typical Operations Assistant role. In this position, your responsibilities will be more diverse, more dynamic & more fun! We don't expect you to have years of experience working in the Operations department of a big company. We, however, expect you to be ambitious & growth-driven, have a positive & can-do attitude, and be able to juggle multiple unknowns while setting the path for future successes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Increasing the company s efficiency by establishing a team and company-wide processes
- Helping build a high-performing team by crafting job descriptions and participating in the applicant selection process
- Creating an amazing onboarding experience for your fellow team members by coordinating the process from start to finish
- Making sure the team is fully equipped to do their best job by maintaining and constantly improving the remote office infrastructure
- Building up company morale and culture by organizing regular team events
- Ensuring the books are up to date by being the liaison with our external accounting department
- Helping the company become our best selves by researching new improvement ideas and sharing them proactively.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- You have some experience working as an assistant in a startup, ideally within operations, executive, or HR departments
- You are a big remote work advocate and fully recognize the benefits of tools such as Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace
- You feel passionate about helping people and communicating with them on a daily basis
- Ad-hoc tasks spur you to perform at your best
- You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done even if the challenges are present
- Conscientiousness is what describes your way of working and the output you produce
- You stay organized and know how to prioritize well
- You are fluent in English and German
- Ideally, you have some knowledge of employment law in Austria.
