English teacher Zurich area – only for teachers living in/around Zurich

The language school with the personal style of teaching is currently expanding its team. We are looking for a qualified English teacher in the Zurich area and also for online classes, e.g. via zoom or teams.

For this job, we can only consider teachers who live in Zurich or around Zurich.

Tasks

You will teach our private and company clients at our school in Zurich, at the company sites in and around Zurich, or online from your personal computer, provided you have a fast internet connection and the necessary technical equipment, such as your premium zoom account. You are creative, curious and always keen to exploit new developments in the internet.

Our clients are motivated and well-educated people, with whom you will most likely have long-term contact. The course contents are varied: the beginners among your participants will appreciate that you aim the lessons at their living situation and support them in their language, for example, in practical matters of everyday life. In addition, you will also teach people to higher levels, preparing for recognized language certificates or customized course content, for example, presentations or negotiations.

Requirements

Our position is suitable only for teachers who are native speakers with a high level of teacher training, preferably in the adult area (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL). We would prefer teachers with several years of teaching experience. But we also offer exciting development opportunities, such as internships or training positions, to lesser experienced teachers at the beginning of their career in adult training.
