SEM Manager (m/f/d) - Remote in Europe or in Berlin

In this role, you will manage all paid search campaigns on Google and Bing, as well as other search engines. You will be responsible for growing and maintaining good performance in terms of overall profit and profit margins in medium to large accounts. A successful SEA Manager will effectively reflect the vertical strategy in their paid search activities and collaborate with the Sales, Product and Content teams in order to maximize ROI, drive quality traffic, and new customers.

Tasks

• You execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in SEA campaigns.
• You maximize profitability and proactively communicate account performance based on traffic mix and keyword quality.
• You proactively share meaningful performance insights, opportunities and risks with stakeholders (Sales, Product Manager, etc.).
• You effectively plan, execute and optimize SEA campaigns.
• You ensure account hygiene & best practice is consistently applied.
• You contribute to the strategic decision-making process for new verticals and geos.
• You review regularly full-funnel consistency and communicate with Product / Content improvements and ideas for testing

Requirements

• Marketing / data-driven marketing / media (or related field of study) university degree.
• At least 2-5 years of professional work experience with a focus on search engine marketing.
• Excellent knowledge of technologies used in the SEA context (SEMrush, Google Sheets, Excel, smart bidding, etc.).
• Exceptional analytical skills to conduct root cause analyses.
• Results-oriented mindset and the ability to break down complex structures.
• Effective communication skills to achieve the best results in the vertical team.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) and experience running SEM campaigns in foreign languages is an advantage.
• Experience with affiliation is a big advantage.
