ABOUT THE TEAM

The TechOps team is one of the backbones enabling the rapid growth of Trade Republic. We aim to provide our colleagues with the best possible hardware and software experience to allow them to focus on their projects and set them up for success. The team is responsible for a broad range of tasks, including device management, identity and access management, configuring of the office network and keeping our asset inventory up to date. We also make sure that we help our colleagues where we can when something does not work as expected.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING

• Configure office networks, applications and services
• Own and drive projects to further improve our TechOps processes and best-practices and write first class documentation
• Identify and implement automatable tasks to reduce repetitive work
• Manage accesses to services through Okta
• Procure and configure IT hardware and software

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You have a degree in computer science or a related field or several years of professional experience in a comparable area.
• You have a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and application landscapes.
• You are passionate about technology and problem-solving.
• You re eager to learn and are able to find the resources you need, to do so independently
• You have a good understanding of networking in all layers and know how to debug connectivity issues
• You deeply familiar with macOS and its inner workings and know how to write shell or python scripts
• You have a service mentality and care about providing a great experience to your co-workers
• You re proficient in English, both written and spoken
