Job Description

NIR-Online GmbH in Walldorf, a subsidiary of B CHI Labortechnik AG Switzerland, develops, produces, and sells process equipment and solutions for the food and feed industry as well as for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. We are internationally active and occupy a leading market position.

Tasks

As an experienced service technician in B CHI NIR-Online Customer Service & Support, you and your colleagues support customers worldwide in 2nd and 3rd level support out of our office in Walldorf/Heidelberg, Germany. You carry out installations and repairs, train users and, together with the worldwide service organization, ensure the functionality of the systems of our customers by fulfilling maintenance contracts.

The tasks are:

Execution of installations, maintenance, and repairs

Customer support on site as well as in telephone and remote maintenance support

Customer training (German, English)

Sales support e.g., through trade fair preparation and product demonstrations

Cooperation in the further development of our range of services

Cooperation in product improvements in cooperation with product management and the development department

Requirements

Basic requirement is an education in the field of electrical/automation engineering or mechatronics, extended by experience in analog electronics and digital measurement data acquisition. Further training as a state certified technician would be desirable.

We are looking for an experienced support colleague (m/f/d) with several years of practical experience in service and installation of field devices and a sound knowledge of process automation. Excellent PC and software skills are essential. You should have the ability to deliver result-oriented solutions even under time pressure. Very good language skills in English and German (spoken and written), a high quality awareness and organisational talent round off your profile. The international orientation of the task requires a willingness to travel of 30% and a pronounced ability to communicate.
