Senior Software Engineer in Test (w/m/d)

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to work across our payment teams. The perfect candidate is a Java expert, who loves complex domains and is comfortable taking ownership and implementing strategy. In this role you can expect to:

• Create, own and maintain a testing strategy for the whole domain.
• Create end-2-end tests and integration tests for Billie s payment system.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure quality standards across the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Constantly improve the quality of processes, and actively review existing Test Automation scenarios.
• Coach and mentor software engineers.

Who we are looking for:

5+ years of experience in Test Automation.

• 3+ years using Java as your main programming language.
• Experience maintaining quality in distributed systems architecture.
• Experience writing test cases (in TestRail or other Test Case Management system).
• Ability to understand complex systems.
• Direct experience with testing web interfaces and APIs.
• Experience and drive to implement strategy and mentor others.
• Experience in the FinTech or Banking domain is a plus.
