We want to make our guests experiences truly memorable from the very first moment they arrive in our hotel. We re looking for our International Luxury Hotel Brand located in Rome a Doorman to be the first Hotel image with the warmest welcomes.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you ll mostly be:
Greet and welcome guests and visitors to the hotel.
Greet visitors and guests on departure, wishing them a pleasant journey.
Relieve guests of their luggage on arrival, store it and log it if a porter is not available.
Handle all guests requests, queries, comments and complaints in a courteous and prompt manner, taking the necessary actions and ensuring follow-up where required.
Open cars/taxis doors on guests arrival and departure
Remove all items of luggage from the vehicle of the guest and call a porter to secure the luggage inside the hotel
Call taxis for guests and visitors, open doors and give directions as required.
Coordinating garage parking service, to collect and receive guest cars from third-party company service.
Make sure that the hotel forecourt is always clean and entrances are not obstructed in any way
Staying one step ahead of our guests needs to anticipate requests and offer assistance
Reporting guest issues and their feedback to improve guest satisfaction
Reporting to the Chief Concierge

Requirements
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- At least one year of experience in Luxury Hotels as Doorman
- Whilst accompanying guests, to promote hotel services and facilities, such as restaurants, bars or other special promotions at the time
- Fluent in Italian & English, extra language skills would be an advantage, but not essential
- Ensuring every guest enjoys discretion, ethical behaviour, privacy and confidentiality
