Job Description

Together with 250 smart minds, you work on tailor-made solutions for major online merchants and marketplaces and design the payment solutions of tomorrow.

As part of a diverse and cross-functional Product Management Team, you take active ownership of your product domain, i.e., the Data Platform. You work as an integral part of the data team to build a robust data platform. You enable Ratepay to be more data-informed and make advanced data-driven decision-making feasible across business areas and other product pillars.

Tasks

  • You are responsible for the further development of your product domain and thus for the development of the overall Data platform based on customer, stakeholder and market needs
  • Together with the Product Team and stakeholders, you develop quarterly product plans and drive the discovery and implementation of products that help us reach our quarterly and yearly goals
  • Together with data team/s, you will be responsible for a high quality product cycle and continuous value delivery to our customers and stakeholders
  • You manage a product roadmap, create and manage a backlog of work for your team/s, high quality technical stories that are prioritized in line with product and stakeholder objectives
  • You translate business stakeholder requirements to technical requirements for the data engineering and BI teams, thereby managing end-to-end data platform requirements
  • You have a strong understanding about how to collect, use data that can drive effective decision-making and put appropriate measures to ensure high data quality
  • You make sure to continuously monitor data and success KPIs of your products, while sharing and implementing learnings
  • You work closely together with various stakeholders, including our Product/ Data Engineering as well as our Commercial, Finance, Risk, Legal and Customer Service teams
  • You are a clear communicator and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are aware of your products progress

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, IT or similar fields
  • You have at least 3 years relevant working experience in technical product management/ ownership of Data products.
  • You have a strong technical acumen including understanding of data modelling, translation into business object models, OLAP approaches; you are very sensitive about data quality
  • You have experience managing Scrum teams comprising data engineers, and building data platform foundation
  • You have worked closely with BI engineers to build critical dashboards and reports; experience working with Tableau is a plus
  • You know the e-commerce industry and your heart beats for innovative payment solutions.
  • You are passionate about data and want to get involved in a rapidly growing company; experience working with OKRs is a plus
  • You have an analytical and structured personality and keep on track in fast working environments
  • You are a dedicated team player and have a strong intuition for innovative products
  • You have working experience in agile software development
  • You have good English skills, both written and spoken
