Event Management Specialist

The MIND Foundation gGmbH is looking for an Event Management Specialist.
We are an international not-for-profit company for psychedelic research, therapy, and personal development based in Berlin. We aim to build a healthier, more connected world through evidence-based, safe, and legal applications of the psychedelic experience.

Your job will be to plan, organize and execute the most important events.

The position is in full-time employment (40h/week) at the MIND office in Berlin-Friedrichshain, starting as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Create and manage our events from A-Z
• Manage events budget
• Agency and event venue negotiation
• Organize marketing material
• Manage and overview logistics, IT, catering, manpower and relations
• Integration of sister company into events
• Management of participants
• Report and review each event with the stakeholders for future planning and improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in event management
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant academic degree in Hospitality, Event Management or Marketing
• Professional fluency in German and English
• Work experience in a fast-paced startup and/or not-for-profit environment
• Superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a team environment
• Ability to think conceptually, strategically, organizationally, and analytically and develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems
• Passion for psychedelic research and education
