Your Tasks:

Especially the Cloud- and Hosting IT industry experienced significant growth throughout the pandemic. Growth with respect to international customers, but also into new customer segments which comes along with new and increased cyber security challenges.

IONOS knows its growing role as an alternative to non-european hyperscalers very well. Besides the established consumer segment, we are intensively working with enterprise customers and their cyber security experts to develop modern cloud security architectures. Our technology landscape is exposed to various threats, ranging from your daily dose of DDoS attempts to more targeted hacks.

You will not walk alone, you will rather be embedded in an effective security organisation spanning from product design over development to operations.

You will

• design, build and improve Cloud architectures with a cyber security focus
• consult especially development and operations on operational Cloud topics, using your Hosting specific state-of-the-art Know-How, including regulatory requirements i.e. to critical infrastructure
• follow international Cloud and cyber security trends and network with internal and international experts
• own strategic projects and operate the interfaces towards customer and business
• execute and ensure security audits and disseminate results tailored for specific target groups

We Appreciate:

The foundation for this ambitious role is your well-founded, multi-year experience in areas such as Cloud and Operations. This experience will be complemented by your equally strong background in cyber security. You bring intrinsic motivation and passion for the job to the office, also to continually keep your Know-How up to date. Bringing it to the home office is also an option.

• You already designed secure private Clouds and more, you further improved those in self-organised and structured projects
• Your are burning for modern, useable cyber security architectures and you know to design and roll out recent trends like Zero Trust in a concrete architecture
• You have multi-year experience in running Linux infrastructures, especially in a containerised environment.
• You must not necessarily be a developer, however you are not shying away from writing own tools to connect components or get a prototype done
• You convince through your confident and communicative character when achieving goal oriented results with your international and internal interfaces.
