THE ROLE

Zattoo s TV Platform is a fully hosted and managed TV as a Service product offered to network operators and media companies in Europe and further afield. At its core, the TV Platform offers our B2B customers the ability to provide their own fully branded TV and content discovery experience to their end users, offering a comprehensive set of features, leveraging our fully automated content acquisition and carrier grade delivery platform. This is provided either as a full white label with front end applications, or as a fully hosted video platform with the option for the operator to integrate their own applications. The TV platform also offers a customisable and configurable business logic engine which enables the platform to be easily tailored to meet even the most complex of content rights requirements. A rich UI based analysis tool offering both real time and historical insights into the operators end users quality of experience is also available, which further proves the Zattoo TV Platform to be a suitable choice for any network operator or media company.

As a Sales Engineer, you will focus on supporting the TV platform business development and account management teams in the sales and upsales activities from a technical, product and process perspective.

You bring the skills to specify adaptations and changes required of the B2B customers platforms in order to fully leverage the Zattoo platform to successfully offer a best in class TV service to their end users. You are the customer facing expert around any TV product related integration point: Caching, CRM, Ingest, Metadata and many more.

In addition you bring an ability to shape, innovate and improve Zattoo s products and features in line with the product development strategy and roadmap in cooperation with Zattoo product teams to meet the requirements of all B2B customers, both potential and existing.

THE PORTFOLIO TEAM

You will be part of Zattoo s Portfolio Management Team. For all B2B stakeholders at Zattoo (Biz Dev, Client Success Management, Project Management and Product Management) who require a clearly defined, innovation-driven product portfolio our team is a dedicated, highly experienced and multi-skilled team that helps boost the performance of stakeholders to run a best in class TV as a Service platform in a professional and reliable manner. We are a multi-disciplined, big picture focussed team centrally positioned within the TV Platform stakeholders domain to enable them to guide, scope, deliver and enhance successful TV as a Service offerings for their customers.

WHAT YOU LL DO

• Participate in all forms of follow on engagement with customers and prospect customers with the Business Development and Account Management teams.
• Lead the answering to technical requirements supplied by customers and prospect customers in both formal (RFx s) and informal formats with the Business Development and account management teams.
• Be an active stakeholder in technical, product and process related exchanges with product, portfolio and business development teams.
• Actively documenting, updating and publishing technical, product and customer focused publications in both an informative and accurate manner.
• Contributing to the future shaping of the product portfolio as it concerns both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Take ownership to draft, contribute and publish technical related documentation to support current and future sales processes.

WHAT YOU LL BRING

• A proven passion for TV as a Service and TV solutions in general.
• Diploma or national equivalent in IT / Business IT / Telecoms. Post primary qualification in an IT related discipline is also acceptable.
• At least 2 years experience in Solutions Architecture or Solutions Consulting role in the broader TV and media service industry.
• Demonstrable knowledge of IPTV / OTT TV platform technologies, protocols and implementations is a must
• Experience working with the TV, operator or media service industry in a technical capacity is a plus
• Experience of working in a B2B environment is a distinct advantage.
• Proven team player.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Keen business sense and entrepreneurial spirit with a big picture outlook.
• Willingness to take on extra responsibility with minimal direction.
• Cross functional communication skills.
