Your role and goals:

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (m/f/d) to join our highly talented Product team in Berlin.

In this role, you will join our high performing Product Design team, work with one of our cross-functional teams, fully own the design discipline in it, and thrive on solving complex and challenging problems, all while helping us to build the most intuitive P2C platform out there!

In your first 3 months you will:

  • Build understanding around the field of feed management, including all of the different solutions our platform is offering
  • Familiarise yourself with our Design System
  • Redesign existing smaller features

In your first 6 months and beyond you will:

  • Deeply understand the business and users' motivations and needs in collaboration with PMs and all relevant stakeholders to clearly define and align the project objectives before designing
  • Define problems and opportunities by combining an analysis of users with business needs
  • Ideate and conceptualise solutions using sketches, mind-maps, information architectures, flowcharts, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Be able to specify which UX methods are appropriate for each case
  • Validate assumptions involving internal and external users along with relevant stakeholders taking into consideration the project constraints and resources available. Iterate on designs based on validated learnings and define UX KPIs to measure success of your projects
  • Prepare and present appropriate UX/UI assets and effectively communicate pixel perfect mockups along with design specs that should be understood by PMs, devs, QA, other designers
  • Partner and collaborate with teammates to scope and develop new features, improve existing ones, and overall ensure the quality of the end-to-end user experience
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with the team to align on requirements, generate ideas, and evaluate our existing experience
  • Work closely with the design team to maintain a consistent and cohesive user experience through contributing in shaping and improving the UI assets and design guidelines (maintaining the design system), design reviews and data-driven design decisions
  • Mentor and coach designers, ensuring the awareness and understanding of user needs and intended outcomes for each project.

What you bring to the team:

  • Approx. 4+ years as a Designer in a B2B environment
  • Extensive experience as Product Designer, owning a dedicated product/feature
  • Experience building understanding around the problem
  • Advocate for the customer but knowing when to compromise to keep moving
  • Able to demonstrate Qualitative and Quantitative research experience to support design decision making
  • Fully able to create interactive prototypes, wireframes, flowcharts, journey mapping, Personas and apply the principles of Information Architecture
  • Plentiful experience applying Design Thinking principles and skilfully facilitating workshops
  • Act supportively in increasing the company s UX maturity
  • You are a master at using Figma and feel very comfortable with it
  • Experience in working on complex apps for specialised domains is a plus
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams
  • Excellent English skills (C1+)
