Senior QA Engineer

Our renowned client in global construction industry is looking out for a Senior QA Engineer. Job location is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Tasks

Min. 5 years experience in web-based and API software testing (incl. test automation and respective
tools, such as Java, JMeter, Selenium, RestAssured, APIs, Cucumber, REST, TestNG, Gradle/Maven)
within a distributed and/or multi-tiered application architecture that is built for high-availability and
high-volume environments
Excellent experience in system integration testing (end-to-end) in an agile environment (SCRUM),
ideally in an application with multiple interfaces and microservices
Quality mindset compared with critical thinking and attention to detail allows you to identify and
propose resolution of data quality problems under pressure
Good knowledge of Atlassian toolchain (eg. JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr)

Requirements

Must Have
Testing Management process and metrics
Agile Methodology (using Jira)
One Programming language (Java/C#/Python)
Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger
API Automation library (e.g. RestAssured)
BDD Implementation (Cucumber/Specflow)
Communication and critical thinking.
Automation Framework design
Atleast one tool of CI/CD (Gitlab is preferred)
Atleast one build tool (Gradle is preferred)
Communication and critical thinking.
Nice to Have
Selenium

Docker
Database
Any of messaging service working and implementation (Active MQ is preferred).
Knowledge of MongoDB, Postgres
Mobile Automation using Appium and integration with AWS Device Farms
