Job Description

If you thrive in the world of YouTube and social video production, content strategy, data and insights and leading teams that deliver great impact for audiences and ROI we would love to chat with you.

As Senior Manager, Content and Creators you will lead a portfolio of successful, established and highly engaged channels on YouTube and beyond. You will be working with a talented team and directly with Creators to develop and scale content, optimise performance on platforms and deliver editorial solutions to commercial opportunities.

Tasks

The Senior Manager will be pivotal to the growth and success of the creator businesses that we invest in and acquire. The role will oversee a number of new channel investments and manage a team of full-time and freelance resources:

1. Onboarding and integration - Supporting the onboarding and integration process for new channel investments, ensuring that channel owners have a smooth and positive first impression and experience working with Electrify allowing us to build on their success without losing any momentum.

2. Content production and optimisation - Managing a team of 3-5 Electrify Content Managers to ensure that the channels they are responsible for are operating effectively and efficiently, content production is growing in line with our business plans and channels are optimised following best practices.

3. Revenue growth - Ensuring that all channels are focused on establishing and growing new streams of revenue including brand partnerships, sponsorship, merchandise and broader opportunities.

You will manage and inspire your team and creators to ensure that content, revenue and business success are maximised and follow best practices. The successful candidate will report into the SVP - Content and Creators.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years work experience within a digital content production role.
  • Detailed understanding of how to create successful content on YouTube and key metrics for success on YouTube and other social video platforms.
  • Demonstrated management experience leading employees.
  • Experience developing branded content strategies with the ability to manage the lifecycle for digital content.
  • Experience developing branded content strategies with the ability to manage the dynamics between content authenticity and revenue.
  • Excellent understanding of the social and digital landscape, global competition, and audience trends.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets / P&Ls, timelines, status reports etc.
