DevOps-Specialist (f/m/d) (remote)

You are a DevOps-Specialist who enjoys applying a modern Development Process utilizing CI, Containers and automated configuration management tooling to a Product. Along the way, you get involved with packaging processes, on-premise backend deployments as well as automated software updates on Customer Machines.

Tasks

• You work on packaging and deployment of a multi-component software stack,
• in collaboration with the team, you work on ways to improve packaging and deployment with an eye on developer experience and on-premise deployment simplification and
• you share your knowledge and get involved in code reviews.

Our tech stack

• A multi-language, multi-component backend containerized using Docker and docker-compose deployed on a Linux environment,
• Frontend Clients deployed for browsers (Firefox/Chrome) and Native Windows (.NET 5, C#, Electron),
• Deployment processes using Gitlab CI, Container + Package registries coordinated using ansible and
• System monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with CI, docker and linux environments,
• you have professional experience with packaging + deploying containerized software,
• experience with python is highly advantageous,
• experience with ansible is advantageous,
• experience with metric/log-collection environments is a plus,
• Business fluent in English and
• highly motivated to learn new things and constantly create a new future.
