Junior Business Development Manager- Go-to-market (m/f/d)

We are looking for:

A new team member for one of our portfolio companies in the Insurtech space. Located in Berlin, the company aims to protect SMEs from cyber threats and attacks through integrating cyber security and insurance.

What will keep you challenged?

• Working hand-in-hand with the Head of Distribution to help shape the go-to-market strategy from day 1
• Acquiring and supporting insurance broker partners
• Onboarding insured SMEs and startups, including consulting on risk mitigation measures
• Driving direct sales of cyber insurance to SMEs and startups
• Taking ownership of the entire sales process from the initial approach to closing the contract

Which traits contribute to your success?

• Proven track record of successfully approaching, conducting and concluding negotiations with commercial customers
• Keen interest in learning new topics in the cyber security / cyber insurance industry
• Experience in cyber security and/or insurance industry (insurance brokerage experience is advantageous)
• Creativity and ability to manage priorities, deadlines and time independently
• Strong team player and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Native-level German skills with strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
